  • Invest Northwest, one of the largest biotechnology conferences in the state, will be taking place March 18 and 19 at the Bell Harbor International Conference Center.

  • "Let's Make A Deal! Key factors that Win (or Kill) Mergers and Acquisitions" will be the topic for the MIT Enterprise Forum this Thursday night in downtown Bellevue.

    Scheduled speakers include Steve Singh of Concur Technologies, Steve McCracken of CultureMob, Kevin Cable of Cascadia Capital and Tivanka Ellawala of Microsoft.

  • The Northwest Entrepreneur Network will host its March "Pub Night" Thursday night at FX McRory's in downtown Seattle. It is a members only event, with registration closing tomorrow at noon.

  • The Northwest Internet Advertising Group will hold a networking event Thursday night at the Chapel Bar in Capitol Hill. It is free to members who sign up on the Web site.

  • Members of the Washington Technology Industry Association will be able to get 20 to 30 minutes of legal advice about the ins and outs of starting new companies from lawyers at Davis Wright Tremaine this Friday. For more details, go here.

  • Mobile Mania -- Show me the Money!" will be the topic of a panel discussion hosted by the Washington Technology Industry Association March 27th at the Westin Hotel in downtown Seattle. Scheduled panelists include Jai Jaisimha of AOL, Chetan Sharma of Chetan Sharma Consulting, F. Joseph Verschueren of Formotus, Brendan Benzing of Motricity and Ian McKerlich of T-Mobile USA.

  • The International Conference on Weblogs and Social Media will be held at the Hilton in downtown Seattle from March 30 to April 2.
