Diamond in the Rough - Vancouver Contest from GORE-TEX

goretex

GORE-TEX is running a contest through September in which you can win $500 in gear or a pair of travel shoes. Yes, travel shoes! The company has launched a line of shoes that are quite stylish as well as being waterproof. Given the weather in the Northwest this, uh, summer, these could come in quite handy!

The folks over at GORE-TEX have hidden 10 Diamond in the Rough game pieces around the world - and one of those is on Granville Island in Vancouver. It would be worth a weekend getaway to go hunt for one of these hidden gems!

You can find the rules here, but, briefly, they include:

1) Getting yourself to one of their 10 destinations (Granville Island being just a hop, skip and a jump away from us Seattleites).

2) Checking out the images on their website that give you a pretty good darn clue as to where to find the game piece.

3) Once you have that game piece in hand, call the number on the back to win YOUR gear!

If you don't happen to be traveling to one of their destinations, you can still win a pair of GORE-TEX travel shoes by filling in a form and stating why you need a pair of shoes. You will be entered to win. Simple - eh?

Good luck and Travel Well!
