Watch the debate ... before the debate

C-SPAN is doing something pretty remarkable in the lead-up to tonight's presidential debate.

Rather than line up an army of talking heads or rehash headlines before showtime in Nashville, Tenn., the fly-on-the-wall network is live streaming what's going on at the debate site right now -- weaving between reporters, students and cable news anchors and scoping out the debate floor to see who's walking across the red carpet John McCain and Barack Obama will stand on in three hours.

At 3:15 p.m. they were doing sound checks.

Check it out. It's kind of cool.

Update: We've removed the video because it started playing automatically on loading.

that is cool.

I'm really hoping Obama won't succumb to McCain's constant need to sidetrack the issues.

Obama is a socialist, pure and simple. If you think that RIGHTS are granted by the government, you are not a friend of the Republic.

It only bothers you, because you're bothered that he's scoring sage points and is making BHO look like the neophyte that he is.

Like many "blind" ones...you might want to listen to the message, rather than be hypercritical of the messenger.

Now Obama wants nuclear?? How, whaaa?

This guys IS jello on the wall.

Ah and now he is saying that we need to cross into a sovereign nation (Pakistan) to get Bin Laden? Where are all of the moonbats now?

Screw all you stupid people who can't see through the snake oil and shiny suit.
