« Lunchtime publicity stunt: "Ask me why I'm naked" | Main | Sick of politics? See the "Election Show" »
Yesterday we observed that when City Councilman Richard McIver used city money to pay a fee he earned for an ethics violation, it sounded like a joke.
Now it really is.
So for some lighter reading to wrap up the workday, check out The Naked Loon's article on the matter - "Councilmembers Spent Taxpayer Money on Ethics Fines, Bun-n-Thigh Rollers, Nigerian Scams, and More."
You'll learn about how several city councilmembers have been spending our hard-earned dollars on fake Swiss watches, Vegas vacations, Amazonian terrariums and "Ultimate Kangaroo Fighting" - whatever that is.
Of course, it's all a big joke written up by Seattle's parody publication.
Or is it?

Seattle's parody publication...that would be The Stranger, right?
