Seattle's Olympic gold medalist Apolo Ohno on 'Project Runway'

It's Wednesday, which means another episode of "Project Runway" is on tonight at 9 p.m. on Bravo. So far, Seattle's own Blayne Walsh is still in, one of the final 13 (of 16). (Wesley, Emily and Jerry were auf'd in the first three episodes.)

On tonight's show, two-time Olympic gold medalist, hometown hero AND "Dancing With the Stars" champ Apolo Ohno (overachieve much?) is slotted to be the extra-special guest judge. Seeing as how the Olympic Games commence Friday (lucky 8/8/08!), the challenge has an Olympic theme to it, as contestants will be prompted to design an outfit for the competition.

So far, except for the first episode, I've been less than impressed with what the contestants are bringing, although their personalities are entertaining, in that reality TV sort of way.

Predictably catty as they're "in it to win it" but already, I'm wondering: Why does Suede speak about himself in the third person? Why does Stella's monotone bother me so much? Is Blayne coming off as too weird, or was the "Holla atcha Boy" an anomaly in his quest for a new catchphrase?

Well, I'll be watching, since my inappropriate middle-aged crush on Apolo is still in full force.

I have a middle-aged crush on Apolo too... a very unhealthy heavy crush! I'll be watching tonight in candlelight and pictures of him on the ground surrounding me. (just kidding!) Love ya Apolo and make those designers step up to the plate to the gold standard you are used to. Can't wait... one more hour!

I think Apolo has alot of cougars, me included, after him. He just has a strange effect on women of ALL ages.
