Conor Oberst and the Mystic Valley Band are set to perform at Easy Street Records' Queen Anne location. It's one of only five stops they'll make across the country to hype the release of Oberst's self-titled album.
The story goes that Oberst and longtime associate Andy LeMaster set up a temporary studio in a mountain villa in Tepoztlán, Mexico (hence Oberst's outfit in the promo picture), and recorded the album in a month.
Stop by Easy Street at 20 Mercer St. on July 30 at 6 p.m. to see if you hear the difference between this project and Bright Eyes.

I am more interested in the state gubernatorial race than the national one. It is almost a forgone conclusion that Obama will take this state. With the tight race for governor, every vote will count."

I find both Easy Street & Oberst a tad overrated. Don't need that store's "holier than thou" attitude.
