Lost Woodland Park mural getting fixed!

Picture
Though this mural has seen better days, city workers are slowly bringing it back to life. (Moises Mendoza/Seattle P-I)

Remember the lost mural in the Woodland Park Zoo tunnel?

City officials trying to remove graffiti from the neighborhood mural accidentally painted over the whole thing then scrambled to bring the painting back.

I paid the tunnel a visit yesterday.

Good news.

Though the beloved mural is far from being completely restored, workers are making progress. You can see for yourself on the picture I snapped.
