A sad tip for bead crafters

Yes, another bead store has bitten the dust, but all you crafters out there get one more chance to benefit from its demise -- even if the pickin's are a bit slim.

Blue Iris Beads (404 W. Meeker St., Kent; 253-852-8055) is having its "FINAL, FINAL, SALE" from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, with 75 percent off of everything. Cash is requested, so be prepared to pay a 3 percent surcharge if you want to use a debit or credit card.

Here's what's left:

Japanese Delicas
Japanese 15s
Japanese bugle beads
Japanese 10/0 twist beads
Japanese 3mm Cubes, 4-mm cubes, 6/0s and 8/0s (possibly)
Czech seed beads and Czech bugle beads
Gold-filled wire
Artistic wire
Assorted beading supplies
Assorted stringing materials
Base metal findings
Metalized plastic beads
Lucite beads

FEATURED COMMENT

PictureI am more interested in the state gubernatorial race than the national one. It is almost a forgone conclusion that Obama will take this state. With the tight race for governor, every vote will count."
