The acts for Bumbershoot (Aug. 30 - Sept. 1) keep trickling in.

Now we hear Ludacris -- whose song "Money Maker" is an instant rump-shaker as well as a Grammy winner -- is on the bill. This excites me because, for some reason, I really like this former Hotlanta DJ (real name: Chris Bridges), even though I try to forget his guest role on "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit." Maybe it's his swagger, maybe it's his flow, but he seems to have never forgotten how to make people move.
Also recently added: Mike Doughty, Kid Sister, and Man Man.
I'm looking forward to Bumbershoot because of the talent roster already posted: Beck, Stone Temple Pilots, Lucinda Williams, Neko Case, Tim Finn, Wreckless Eric & Amy Rigby and Ingrid Michaelson, just to name some of the lineup.
The full lineup will be announced in July.
The Bumbershoot box office is now open; three-day passes are on sale for $80 through Aug. 15 (after that they'll be $100). Single day-specific tickets will be available July 15 at bumbershoot.org, Ticketmaster outlets or by calling 206-628-0888, and beginning Aug. 2 at western Washington Starbucks stores. There are no service fees for tickets purchased at Starbucks. Single day-specific tickets are $35 through Aug. 15, and $40 thereafter.
For complete details, visit Bumbershoot's official site.

I like Luda a lot, but lets hope he isn't the Hip-hop headliner, in my opinion he isn't in the same league as the Wu-Tang Clan, A Tribe Called Quest, and Kanye West.
