Being on the road must be taking a toll on Kanye West. The hip-hop star confused Sacramento for Seattle during a performance in the California city Friday and later wrote a blog post apologizing to angry fans. West wrote:
When I said Seattle and there was no crowd response I was up on my spaceship platform thinking damn... I think I just said the wrong city!!!!! ... Hey, I'm not perfect. Hope everybody had a good time. I'm a man, I can say it... I'm sorry.
Sure, it must have been a rough night for central California, but we in Seattle can take the compliment. West opened his "Glow in the Dark" tour in the Emerald City last Wednesday and apparently forgot he ever left (read our review).
According to comments on his blog, West made the gaffe during a performance of the song "Good Life," when he yelled, "It feel like Seattle, Seattle, Seattle."
I don't know, Sonics. Maybe KeyArena's not such a bad spot after all.

lol. I guess in an era where politicians "mispeak" constantly, such a slip up is ok. Still amusing though.
