Squirrel blog takes a furry angle on Seattle saga

On the lighter side on your lunch hour ... you know how they say there's a blog for everything?

Apparently, there's a blog for squirrels.

It's called "Squirrels Squirrels Squirrels," and according to its tagline, "It's Like that Motley Crue Song, but Better."

One would have to be a very bad, bad squirrel blog to ignore the saga of Seattle's now famous "Squirrelman." So Squirrels Squirrels Squirrels author Joy dutifully piped in this morning with a post that took a more furry angle on this fascinating story:

He's a carpenter, but he sounds more like a squirrel: Not only does he live in a treehouse, and owns a pet squirrel named Tilt, but also, according to this AP story he "got his nickname for his ability to tame squirrels."

P.S. -- You'd be surprised how many stories fall into the Squirrels Squirrels Squirrels blog beat. There are squirrels who are the focus of climate change research. Squirrels who get killed by crazy U.K. rock stars. Even albino squirrels who get devoured by hawks. Ah, blogs.

I am currently living in a nursing home with someone who used to live with Squirrel Dave, as he is better known. I was told that Dave has been kicked out of every flophouse in Seattle for smoking crack and molesting women, some as young as 12 years old. Before the PI or any other paper deifies some homeless "eccentric" they should dig deeper into their story.

Howdy mates,
I don't know if relocating a local bum out of city habitat is a good idea. But with our seattle overcrowded habitat we may have to relocate some of the local wildlife. We should write about other specimens in the paper each week and maybe some other foolish back country women will hunt them down and move them to their rural wildlife sanctuary thus freeing up some of our own habitat for new bums to move into. This is trial and error at this point mates but perhaps this silly woman has found a way for us to cure our overpopulated habitat. I cant wait to see what happens next. What a splendid idea. I can tell squirrelman bum is an old buck and very wize by him saying he don't want to be a burden on her. That is a trick only the wisest and oldest of bums do.
