Cat Power at Showbox SoDo Friday

Just in case you missed the memo, Cat Power, A.K.A. Charlyn Marie Marshall will be performing Friday night, April 11 at the Showbox, SoDo. This will be my first time seeing Cat Power live and my first time at the recently opened new Showbox location.

The first time I heard Cat Power, she blew my mind. I had never heard a female vocalist with such a unique style. I look forward to seeing her live as I hear she puts on a crazy show and is known for a "chaotic" and "unpolished" nature. I guess we'll see what that really means.

Want to learn more about Cat Power before tomorrow show? Check out this video interview:

If you don't have your tickets already, you're in luck! Tickets are still on sale for $30 at the door. The show is all ages and doors open at 8:30. Showbox SoDo is in the SoDo area (naturally) which is south of Quest Field and the Safeco Field. The address is 1700 First Avenue South. Click here for driving directions!
