« What is happening to my neighborhood? Capitol Hill condo watch: Part I | Main | Saying goodbye to Hawthorne Heights' Casey Calvert »
Well, Spring Break is here and relaxation is nowhere in sight. With friends in exotic locations like Europe, Jamaica and California (not so exotic), it is hard to enjoy being stuck in Parkland, Wash.
While my peers sip Corona and sunbath on Mexican beaches, I play catch-up on homework and watch countless hours of YouTube. My Scrabulous time has increased to an obscene amount in my boredom. I'll admit it has been nice to catch up on a little pleasure reading, it would sure to be nice to get out and do something else.
The problem is simple, I'm broke. I contemplated a road trip but with these gas prices, who can afford that? Is anybody else stuck at home? Does anybody have any ideas of fun (cheap or free) things to do in Seattle or Tacoma?
