It turns out I do Heart Rummage!

Picture
What I bought today, by Charlie Morocco.

I have been meaning to check out Capitol Hill's monthly rummage sale for a while and finally made it out today. I was not disappointed.

There were lots of things I liked about the sale: cool fashion designs and other unique crafts plus food, music and a bar. All things considered, it is an awesome place to spend a Sunday afternoon.

The major downside is that many of the crafts are pricey. Then again, with that high price comes high quality and one-of-a-kind items.

Some of my favorite vendors were Sam Trout's T-shirt designs, Knelow Cosmetics Buddha-shaped candles and beautiful books by Catch and Release design.

Other items included masks, handmade cards, matted photo prints, children's clothing, accessories for your pet and much, much more.

You can find my photo gallery of the event here.

I Heart Rummage happens the first Sunday of every month at Chop Suey. Check it out on April 6, 2008.
