Rossi tops '04 fundraising

Republican gubernatorial candidate Dino Rossi's campaign reported Tuesday that it has topped its fundraising total from the 2004 campaign, having now raised more than $6,254,035.80.

Rossi is again challenging Gov. Chris Gregoire, the Democrat who prevailed in '04 by 133 votes out of almost 3 million cast after two recounts and a court fight.

As of May 31 Gregoire had reported raising about $6.8 million.

Sure, he is going to raise a lot more money this time. The people of the State of Washington are tired of the unelected queen spending money.

I think Rossi will raise plenty of money and win this one...the last one was a fruad and most people in the state still believe this to be the case.

Then there was the lie, not to raise taxes, but in the end the biggest tax increases in history.

It's time to elect someone from the outside. Any one in this state's politics that isn't a demo, is an outsider.

AND...CAN WE HAVE PRIVATIZED LIQUOR SALES. The state run stores are a good sign that we are a one party state!

The Compact negotiated by the Tribes and Gregoire is just one example of what happens when we the people allow the Election Process to become Flawed. There is no doubt the process was tampered with.
The new King County Prosecutor is a much at fault as is the King County Elections Officials at the time of the Election.
With all of the irregularities that occurred in the Gregoire/Rossi Election, there is no doubt it should have been investigated by the U.S. Attorney, he refused to get involved, for that he should have been fired. If that scrutiny determined the Election Process was in fact working, it would have ended any and all criticism of both the process and people.
For both Candidates to seek campaign funds from the general public is OK, however for the Gregoire Elitist to think the people in the state of Washington will believe the nonsense in the Ads is foolish. The Ads will backfire on Gregoire.
May the Best Man Win and he will Vote for Rossi and you will see a man truly dedicated to making this the best State in the Country.
