« Romney leads in Iowa | Main | E-mails detail Port Commission anger about Dinsmore severance package »
Fired U.S. attorney John McKay was in Wenatchee Sunday speaking to the Maintstream Republicans. McKay is thought by some to have political aspirations.
While McKay says he has no plans to run for public office, he certainly sounded like a candidate on Sunday:
"What we've done is take issues like gay marriage and rubbed people's noses in it. ... We raise abortion up on the flagpole every single time to create dissension, to create some line that has nothing to do with what Republicans are about. We should accept people into the party who have divergent views, on immigration, on gay marriage."
So what's McKay going to do now? The P-I's John Cook reports that McKay has taken a job as general counsel for Getty Images.
