photoAmber Yoo

Born and reared in Jacksonville, Florida, Amber Yoo has a bachelor's degree in business administration with an outside area of specialization in physics from the University of Florida.

In 2003, she moved to Seattle with her husband and has enjoyed getting to know the city. Always an animal lover, she works for the Seattle Humane Society as the marketing associate.

photoBill Kueser

Bill Kueser grew up on a farm in Kansas surrounded by all manner of animals. Although he was allergic to most of them, it didn't stop him from developing a life passion for animal welfare.

He moved to Seattle in 1999, worked for many years in the legal industry, and now runs a small marketing consulting business from home.

Bill volunteers at the Seattle Humane Society in the boarding kitchen and in the Dog Behavior and Socialization program.

He has adopted two shelter dogs--first Sarah who passed away last year, and then Julius, a very large, young and boisterous yellow Lab who excels at agility, flyball and dragging Bill around the neighborhood.

Cats and dogs have been a part of Claire's life since childhood, and she currently shares her home with four (yes, four) cats. Originally she had two cats, which she thought was a perfectly reasonable number. And then she started volunteering for local animal shelters.

When not volunteering as a foster parent or adoption counselor, Claire raises awareness and funds for literacy outreach programs at a local non-profit agency. She came to this line of work by way of a rather circuitous route in advertising, communications, event management, marketing, public relations and television production.

Daz works in the software industry where, after 20 years in technical roles, he now helps with strategy.

Feeling strongly about helping those less fortunate than himself, Daz supports several animal welfare organizations in the Pacific Northwest.

He lives in Redmond with his beloved dog Lucky whom he adopted from the Seattle Humane Society. The two spend most of their free time together exploring near and far.

photoLynn Marshall

Lynn is a native of the Northwest, with a background in journalism. For nine years she was the Los Angeles Times Northwest bureau researcher, a job that gave her the chance to write about animals now and again.

These days she does freelance writing, volunteers at the Seattle Humane Society and is spending a lot of time training her two youngest dogs - Mishka a 70-pound Malamute cross, and Max, a 95-pound St. Bernard cross. In addition to these rowdy teenagers she lives with Michael, a senior Belgian Sheepdog cross, three very patient cats, Kali, Bynka, and Shoja, and her equally animal-crazy husband.
