« Contest: Name that serial bank robber | Main | House fire in North Seattle »
The KeyBank in the 9200 block of Rainier Avenue South was robbed Monday afternoon, and FBI agents are looked for the robber.
The robbery happened about 3:30 p.m. when a man believed to be in his late 20s went into the bank wearing a camouflage jacket and an orange beanie, FBI spokeswoman Robbie Burroughs said.
The man was believed to be unarmed, she said.
Agents didn't specify how much money he left with – but he did get away with a red dye pack that exploded on him as he fled southbound down Rainier Avenue South.
It was not clear if Monday's robbery was related to a robbery Thursday in Bellevue or a robbery last week in Seattle, Burroughs said.
