A new feature was recently added to Google. If you type in a phrase such as "Real Estate" or "Homes For Sale" a new feature pops up at the top of the search results. You can now type in a city or zip and search for homes for sale or rent which searches within the Google Base site and uses the Google Maps functionality to show all the homes available in that area. It's a great feature and Google has definitely made an easy way for the public to search on homes besides those found on the local realtor companies websites. All of you Realtors can breathe a sigh of relief though, since it doesn't offer all of the homes listed on the MLS and relies on individual Realtors or unrepresented sellers to manually type in their housing information into Google Base in order for there to be any significant results.
