"LOVED ONES" MOVIE IS CURSED

MT. VERNON, WA, May 5, 2008:  "Loved Ones" –a vampire tale– is still on schedule to begin filming in May, 2008 in Mt. Vernon, WA, despite a series of unfortunate accidents and events. Some are calling it a curse, saying that the movie has some kind of supernatural bad luck attached to it. One of the actresses set to play a key role was diagnosed to have a brain tumor and the role had to be recast less than a month before filming due to doctor's orders. Shortly after, another actress and actor both suffered deaths in their immediate families within 8 hours of each other. To worsen things, 3 key producers of the film (including one of the supporting leads) were involved in a severe auto accident in North Hollywood, CA less than a week before filming. The accident, caused by a 17 year old with no driver's license or insurance, luckily resulted in only minor injuries for all involved. However, this series of events has led to widespread speculation about the film being cursed, akin to the "Poltergeist" movies which also began filming in May of their respected years and released over 20 years ago. Despite these unforeseen and unfortunate events, "Loved Ones" is still on schedule to be released this Halloween.
