The antitrust scrapheap
It probably wouldn't qualify as a David Letterman Top 10, but here, according to Microsoft, is the complete list of names suggested by the company but rejected by the European Commission for the stripped-down version of Windows to be offered in Europe. As reported this morning, Microsoft has agreed to the name subsequently chosen by the commission: "Windows XP Home Edition N" and "Windows XP Professional Edition N."

- Windows XP/B
