Mark this day on your calendar, Dawg fans. You may never see another day like it again. Even I had to do a double take when I first saw it.
Seattle P-I columnist Jim Moore - the Go 2 Guy and certified High Priest of Cougar Nation - is picking the Huskies to win. And, to make matters more extreme, he's actively rooting for the Dawgs. I'm still in shock. Every time I think about Moore rooting for the Dawgs, I develop a twitch.
However, Dawg fans can take solace that we agree with Moore on one thing and that's our mutual disgust for all things related to Dennis Erickson. There are few coaches on the planet that I would love to beat more than Dennis. So, if by some miracle the Huskies actually win this weekend in Tempe, you'll likely find me on the 11 o'clock news running naked down I-5 in a rage of pure joy.
Whatever happens, I'll mark this day on my calendar as the day that Jim Moore rooted for the Huskies.

Wow. Not only is Jim Moore picking the Dawgs to win but he's picking against his beloved Cougars on the same weekend. I bet that doesn't happen again anytime soon. Or at least not until the Huskies play a Dennis Erickson-coached team, again.
