Since you asked ...

The Seahawks' next camping adventure is the annual workout camp in June -- 2-5 and 9-12 -- at their headquarters in Kirkland. The practices are closed to the public.

Training camp begins in late July -- probably Saturday, the 26th. But the plan is to hold training camp at their Kirkland facility this year and then move to the new digs on the shores of Lake Washington in just-barely-Renton when camp breaks -- probably just before the Aug. 25 preseason game in San Diego.

There has been some talk of practicing once a week at the new facility, so fans can watch. They'll also hold their annual scrimmage -- probably Saturday, Aug. 2. It won't be at Memorial Stadium, as it was last year. Maybe Qwest Field.

All the training camp info is tentative, of course.

Clare,

Which events are non-mandatory (optional)?

Thanks,

The workout camp is "voluntary." Training camp is mandatory.

With Kenny Mayne in town, perhaps we could impose on him to join the Seahawks broadcast team from time to time. He'd be great on the sidelines chatting with the players and he'd no doubt be a tremendous improvement over the air heads we see down there now.

Yep, Kenny Mayne behind the Seahawks mike. What a concept!!!

To my fellow 12th Man Brothers and Sisters,
I have decided to take this into my own hands. The Seahawks have yet to retire 'Tez's number and they maybe waiting, but I feel it's time. I have started an online petition and am asking you to help me in getting this out to Seattle. Here is the link if you want to check it out or sign it and feel free to do both!

Thanks,

42 mill and now a DUI allegation. Rascal looks like a friggin idiot today.

if allegations against tatupu and/or bernard are proven true they must be treated similarly as other squawk outcasts or else rascal's supposed high ground comes accross as just a bunch of PC BS.
