« Caught in the Act | Main | NOT Monty Python »
You can wear the mouse (t-shirts), hold the mouse (toys), watch the mouse (cartoons) and visit the mouse (DisneyWorld), but if you still can't get enough of Mickey, don't forget you can also eat the mouse. Thousands of Mickey Mouse waffles are sold and consumed at the Disney theme parks each day and waffle irons now make it possible to enjoy the sweet, crispy mouse at home while watching a Disney flick. May we suggest "Mickey and the Beanstalk" from 1947, with a culinary subplot about the Giant grinding Mickey's bones to make his bread, a precursor to the waffle idea.
