"Kit Kittredge: An American Girl," currently in theaters, is an enjoyable family flick featuring an adorable Basset Hound named "Grace." Set during the Depression, it's like Nancy Drew Meets the Waltons. Times are tough but girl reporter, Kit, solves a crime and saves the day along with a fun filled cast of familar faces like Colin Mochrie (Whose Line Is It Anyway?), Jane Krakowsi (30 ROCK), Glenn Headly (Monk) and Chris O'Donnell and Julia Ormond as Kit's parents. Stanley Tucci (The Devil Wears Prada) plays a mustachioed magician and Joan Cusack is a loony librarian. Abigail Breslin is a living doll as Kit.
