TOUGHER IN ALASKA

Picture

Picture

On Star Trek, outer space was the final frontier but here on planet earth the last American frontier is Alaska. If you want to see what puts the "wild" in wildlife and wilderness check out a new show called "Tougher in Alaska" hosted by Geo Beach (a man whose name is as picturesque as his lifestyle.) In addition to being an award winning writer he's lived in Alaska for 25 years and is well acquainted with all its unique pleasures and perils. He's survived volcanic eruptions and winter crabbing on the Bering Sea among other adventures, so join the trek up north from the safety of your living room when the series premieres on the History channel on Thursday, May 8 at 10/9C. Warm socks optional.

Dear Film Hound,
Are there any movies featuring appearances by crabs?

btw, thanks for the heads-up on Geo Beach. I'll definitely check out the new show. anyone who can make it 25 years in Alaska must be pretty tough. Makes me feel guilty for complaining about Chicago winters.
