« A New Dad in Town | Main | Another Reason I'm Not Buying My Kids An X-Box »

I'll admit my mommy blogroll is looking a little undernourished these days, so this week's winning site is Mommytrack'd, a funky online place that offers moms, and dads, a little of everything, celebrity mommy quotes, commentary on the still-raging mommy wars, and even thoughts of dads on hard-charging moms.
Mommytrack'd says it's a "helpful and entertaining resource for all the time-crunched moms managing the daily tug of war between work and family."
One sure hit is the site's "We Have No Time For A Book Group Book Group," which offers reviews of everything from cookbooks to children's stories. (I'm betting Working Mom will click on this section, once she gets a break from work.)
Mommytrack'd also has an appealing, slightly retro style, and a healthy perspective on the struggles of balancing motherhood and work, without sounding too strident.
Founded by The Gap's's former corporate counsel, Amy Keroes, the site serves those moms who keep working because they want to or have no choice.
"There is a misperception that a lot of people in high-powered careers have stepped back when there are a lot of really cool, interesting women who are good moms and still work," Keroes told the San Francisco Chronicle when she launched the site in May.
Plus is has the obligatory parenting message boards.
Enjoy.
