St. Patrick's Day at Wilde Rover in Kirkland, now a "Three-Day Event" - It's the second annual St. Patrick's Day Celebration to include all ages, and benefit local non-profits. Kirkland's largest St. Patrick's Day celebration has turned into a weekend-long affair at Wilde Rover Irish Pub & Restaurant, with activities for children, families and the over-21 crowd.

On Saturday, March 15th, a special children's brunch and complimentary children's activities, including face painting, coloring and balloon animals, will be available from noon until 4 p.m. In addition, the regular brunch, lunch and dinner menus featuring Irish favorites such as Corned Beef & Cabbage, Guinness Lamb Stew and Fish & Chips will be available. After 9 p.m., the restaurant will be 21 and over.

On Sunday, March 16th, the day will begin with a special prix fixe family brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to benefit the Kirkland Downtown Association. Tickets are $20 per person and can be purchased by contacting Julie Metteer at (425) 893-8766.

On Monday, March 17th (St. Patrick's Day), the restaurant will be open to the 21 and over crowd only from 11 a.m. until close. Live Irish music begins at 3 p.m. and includes the Kennedy Brothers, the Ian McFeron Band and Big Luv. There is a $10 cover charge all day and a limited food menu will be offered. A portion of the day's proceeds will benefit Hopelink.
