You have everything right! Your dog is doing a great stay, the light is perfect and you begin shooting. When you get home, you notice that the perfect shot is ruined by a pole sticking out of your dogs head! Yes, this actually happened on a shoot for me., but I averted disaster by checking the LCD screen.

By asking the dog to put her head down I could get rid of the pole. Of course I could have spent time at the computer fixing it but I would rather take the pics than fix them!

Always check the lcd to see what kind of picture you are getting!
