Sandra Bailey is the owner of TheNaturallyHealthyDog.com and Ruff Ruff Resort, a Wellness Resort Spa boarding facility for small dogs in Charlotte, NC.

She is the published author of Real Dogs Don’t Eat Kibble! the first book in The Naturally Healthy Dog Series. Her book is available on her website, as well as at the major book distributors online. She has written numerous articles about the care and nutrition of dogs and she offers a free newsletter to subscribers at her website. Her book is used as a resource guide for the Carolina Panthers NFL Football Team for the benefit of their pets.

Having designed several coaching and consultation programs, Sandra offers a “Diet/Nutrition Coaching Program” for those interested in feeding their dogs a healthy, nutritious diet, and another program that concentrates on healthy weight loss for your dog. She also offers Reiki and other holistic practices for dogs at her facility. All of these programs concentrate on improving the immune system, increasing health, and adding years to your dog’s life.

She works closely with Dr. James E. Schacht, DVM, who is a certified veterinary acupuncturist, certified veterinary homeopath, and is a past president of the Academy of Veterinary Homeopathy.

Sandra interviews veterinarians across the county regarding the different holistic modalities that they use in their practices, and these interviews are offered on her membership website, as well as on CD.

She has spoken at universities, animal shelters, rescue groups, and to others interested in the health and care of dogs. She has been interviewed on a number of radio shows.

Sandra got her first dog at age 14, and when she picked out the runt of the litter and her Mom asked “Why?” she said, “Because she looked like she needed me.” That began her love affair with dogs and she has had dogs for over 50 years. She has shown Papillons for over twenty years and currently has two Papillons, Digit and Pip. She has fed her dogs the natural raw diet and treated them with homeopathy for over twenty years.
