Looky Here: Look Cupcake Comes to Town!

Look Cupcake
Watch out, Seattle, there's a new cupcake in town: Look Cupcake!

As owner Rhienn Davis clued us in, Look Cupcakes is a new special-order cupcake business in Seattle, specializing in gourmet filled cupcakes. And as we all know--everything's better with cream (or in this case, chocolate ganache, raspberry creme, mojito or cinnamon cheesecake) filling! Choose your own combination of cake, filling and frosting--or go with their suggestions, such as the "Bollywood"--a Vanilla chai spice cake with cinnamon cheesecake filling, topped with a healthy dollop of fresh ginger buttercream frosting. Yum.

Though they primarily focus on custom orders (weddings, corporate events, parties, etc.), if you're in the Seattle area they're available for retail sale at Blue Saucer Cafe in the Maple Leaf neighborhood.

In fact, if you want to see for yourself, give 'em a try--for free! They'll be having a free sample event on May 31st, from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. at the cafe, featuring complimentary mini cupcake samples.

Need we say more?

Tasting Location: Blue Saucer Cafe, 9127 Roosevelt Way NE (between 91st St & 92nd St), Seattle, WA; (206) 453-4955.

I hired Ms. Davis to make cupcakes and a cake for my daughter's birthday and I could not have been happier. The quality of the products was excellent and they were absolutely delicious, not to mention beautiful. I have recommended her to all of my friends and would not hesitate to use her again.

I saw these cupcakes last weekend when I stopped by for a Hellfire Mocha (which I'm totally addicted to) and to use their free wi-fi. The chocolate hazelnut was unbelievable!!! I'll definitely be back.
