Evil among the tech titans

Here's one way to tell the big Internet and tech companies apart:

Google says "We're not evil," and everyone believes them ... for now.

Microsoft says "We're not evil," but no one believes them.

Apple doesn't have to tell anyone it's not evil: its stuff is really cool so that doesn't matter.

Yahoo! might be evil; after all, it does everything else.

No one thinks Amazon is evil; they just want free shipping.

No one wonders if InfoSpace is evil, either; they're just amazed it's still around.

EBay doesn't seem all that evil; it's just faster, easier, more seductive ...

Who'd I miss? Suggestions, additions and amendments for this list are more than welcome.

C'mon. Hit on the Seattle Times as evil, or is that too each a mark.

I'm sure The Stranger and Seattle Weakly could come up with some if pushed into a spat this week.

Although they aren't really a titan anymore, AOL should prolly be on that list somewhere, if only to make fun of how badly they've adapted to the broadband world.

What? We already know that AOL is evil.
