'The most ...'

We're beta-testing a new feature on SeattlePI.com. The Top 20 page lists:

  • The most popular stories during the past hour.
  • The most popular stories for the past 24 hours.
  • The most e-mailed stories for the past 24 hours.
  • The most printed stories for the past 24 hours.

If you're interested in seeing what other users are reading, saving or passing along, please give it a look. We welcome your feedback.

And yes, we plan on adding "most" lists for other types of content in the future.

Not bad. But could some data be added to the ranking, like number of hits or proportion of the top 20 or something like that.
The top story may have 1000 hits and the bottom 950 or 9. Ranking doesn't show the spread.

Time spent viewing a story if that is measurable?

Where is Buzzworthy in the list?

What about most-read from archives etc?

Picture galleries?
