Cafes vs. Wi-Fi 'zombies'
Following up on last week's globe-spanning news that Victrola, a coffee shop on Seattle's Capitol Hill, is now disconnecting its free Wi-Fi on the weekends, P-I retail reporter Kristen Millares Bolt looks at the various tactics cafes are using to combat "the zombie effect," i.e., the deadening impact that critics say Wi-Fi has on customer interaction.
