Bullseye on bad patents
The Electronic Frontier Foundation's Patent Busting Project has released its list of 10 most-wanted patents -- "the ones that pose the biggest threat to the public domain." The organization plans to challenge all 10 and try to get them revoked.
The EFF site gives basic details in an amusing wanted-poster format, with in-depth explanations (rap sheets?) on each. Wired News offers a succinct, but sometimes clearer, overview.
All technology or Internet-related, the "terrible 10" cover things such as streaming audio and video and creating digital recordings of live performances.
