September 23, 2003Big Music and 'The Big Talk'Another thing to thank the RIAA for: giving parents one more important thing to discuss with their kids -- namely, the possible repercussions of downloading copyrighted music. As mom Wendy Oschmann tells the San Francisco Chronicle: "I resent the fact that now parents have to add another dimension to 'The Big Talk' (about sex, drugs, alcohol, AIDS, peer pressure) and include a caution about music downloading and how it may financially devastate the family."
