The world's least credible propogandist, former Iraqi Information Minister Mohammed Saeed al-Sahhaf, has emerged from post-war obscurity. In interviews with Arab TV networks, he said that he had surrendered to U.S. forces and been released after questioning.

Not surprisingly, Central Command disputes his account, the BBC reports:

"We don't have him, and there is no information from our people on the ground to back up these reports," a spokeswoman for Central Command told BBC News Online.
