Lost: An Open Letter
Lost has got its fan bewildered, that's for sure. So mind-boggling are some episodes that some viewers feel utterly exhausted after watching them. And why not? For instance, in "Something Nice Back Home," a lot of things were again revealed about the future, but in the same time, it still leaves a lot of Lost viewers baffled and wanting an explanation sooner rather than later. En route to that finale, however, some viewers are already wondering whether they like the path the series is taking or not.

For instance, Hurley explains that they are all dead. Although the flash-forwards reveal that there is something clinically wrong with Hurley's brain, this prophesy, no matter how crazy or unfounded, can potentially just demolish the series' premise of eventual survival or universal doom. The first season of Lost did a pretty good job of introducing the characters, including their backgrounds and peculiarities, which fans have grown to love. Lost's original hypothesis will be for naught if they turn out to be all dead in the first place. After a couple of other appearances from dead, or supposed to be dead survivors, the question that begs to be asked is: Why are the dead roaming the island?

In fact, in the next episode, "Cabin Fever," Locke meets a Dharma Initiative staffer who claims to have been dead for the last twelve years. If this is the case, then clearly there is something more to the island than the whole lot Lost fans already know.

Exclusive Interview: Alexis Jones and James Clement of 'Survivor: Micronesia '
On Survivor, it became an inadvertent double elimination night when, other than the usual castaway being voted off (in an unusual fashion), another one left the game due to injury, and Survivor fans know it is always sad and unfortunate when someone leaves for something beyond their control.

Survivor said goodbye to James from Survivor: China who was forced to leave as he was nursing a severe infection on his hand. As luck would have it, it was also on day 30 when James left during his first Survivor appearance. He now calls it "a curse."

On the other hand, in an exciting tribal council, Alexis was voted off after an impressive and brilliant use of the hidden immunity idol by Amanda. She herself admits that she was indeed "more than shocked" at what happened. The person who got the most votes that night, Amanda (who was also from Survivor: China, by the way) turned out to have the hidden immunity idol. She played it superbly, too. No one knew she had it until the moment before the votes were read. Clearly, good acting always goes a long way on Survivor.

Asked how Amanda was able to get the idol without anyone noticing, Alexis says, "Everyone is always running off and doing things by themselves. She was able to go in, dig it up, and keep it under wraps as well as she did." Alexis adds that it was particularly hard to watch how shocked she looked on national television.

'American Idol' Hits 5-Year Ratings Low, Over-Reaction Abounds
After more than five years of being on air, American Idol received its lowest ratings on April 30 by having only 22.1 million viewers for its Tuesday night's episode. The figure meant losing around 1.2 million followers from the previous week. The FOX reality TV talent search had been dropping in ratings in recent weeks and once again hit a five-year low. Just last year, an average of 29 million viewers watched the show, a far cry from the present situation.

Despite the ratings dip, The New York Times reported that the producers of the show were not alarmed. FremantleMedia North America's chief executive and American Idol's executive producer Cecile Frot-Coutaz said, "We're still 7 million viewers ahead of the second-biggest show."

Cecile Frot-Coutaz also pointed out the fact that AI was not alone in its boat. "Let's face it. TV has taken a huge decline this year. All the networks are down by quite a bit. I think the writers strike really hurt. A lot of viewers haven't come back. You can't just look at an isolation in the environment," she explained.

In quite a number of articles posted over the net, Paula Abdul seemed to be blamed for the ratings drop because of her mistake on Tuesday's live episode.

When it's time for Jamie to blow out his candles, Lindsey arrives, putting Lucas in an awkward situation. Lucas invites Lindsey to his place and she agrees to stop by once the party is over.

Supernatural: Episode 3.14 "Long-Distance Call" Recap
Supernatural's "Long-Distance Call" episode started with a scene in Milan , Ohio . A man named Ben Waters kept on receiving calls from a woman named Linda. Ben hanged up on her twice but she told him she's not going to stop. True to her words, the phone kept ringing even after Ben had ripped out the cord from the wall. Ben then said she has won and then shoots himself with a gun.

Dean and Sam went to Ohio and they talked to Mrs. Waters who told them she overheard his son talking to a woman named Linda but she heard no one when she listened on the other line. After researching, Dean and Sam found out that Linda was Ben's high school sweetheart who died in a car accident. The caller ID displayed a phone number that is over a hundred years old. The two then went to the telephone company and discovered that ten other houses received calls from the same number but they couldn't locate where it's coming from.

Sam checked one of the houses and found out that a daughter named Lanie had been talking to her dead mom. Dean called Sam and related the same cases to him. Then when he hanged up, Dean got another call from John, his dead father. When the two meet up, Dean told Sam about the call but Sam advised nothing.

While Sam was sleeping, John called again berating Dean for selling his soul. John also said he knows of a solution to Dean's problem and told him that the demon who has the contract is in Milan .

At Lanie's home, her dead mother sent instant text messages to her. On the computer screen, the words "Come With Me" were displayed over and over again.

The following day, Dean recognized that a demon had been following them. It turned out that John gave them an exorcism ritual that can kill the demon. Sam was not convinced that John called, leaving Dean furious. Sam pleaded Dean to stay inside the room until he gets back from Lanie.

Lanie told Sam that her mother had been asking her to kill herself with sleeping pills. She only realized that it was not her mother when she started asking Lanie to come with her. Sam advised her to avoid all electrical equipment. But as the two conversed, Lanie's brother Simon picked up the ringing phone and then disappeared.

Dean received another call from John and then he went to an old house, bringing along his equipment.

Survivor: Talkin' Hidden Immunity Idols
On Survivor, when two people who possessed the hidden immunity idol were eliminated in succession, perhaps it got Survivor fans thinking whether they were eliminated despite it, or because of it. When Jason Siska and Ozzy Lusth were eliminated, it was not only downright frustrating, it got viewers rethinking about the mixed fortune the complicated thing brings. And really, it can be tricky. Going by the Survivor's official rules, "if you intend to use the idol, you must reveal it or give it away to someone else after all of the votes have been cast, but before the votes are read." And in the event that you have the highest number of votes, the person with the second highest number of votes will be eliminated from the game.

This was the mistake committed by Jason and Ozzy alike. The idol may give you a false sense of security, and in the process makes you very vulnerable because everybody will be after you. The tricky part also has something to do with the variety of options involved. First off, you may keep it a secret or tell others that you have it. This aspect has to be played to perfection. If you gloat about it or at least make it known, you will end up thinking no one will vote for you. Thus, making you vulnerable for blindsides so typical of Survivor.

One Tree Hill's upcoming episode is entitled "Cryin' Won't Help You Now". On CW's official website, the episode description reads, "Lucas (Chad Michael Murray) investigates Dan's (Paul Johansson) heart condition while Haley (Bethany Joy Galeotti) struggles with letting Dan into Jamie's (guest star Jackson Brundage) life. Nathan (James Lafferty) urges Quentin (guest star Robbie Jones) to reinvent his game and Brooke (Sophia Bush) juggles her career with life as a new mother. Peyton (Hilarie Burton) tries to assuage her guilt over Lucas' break-up, and Mouth (Lee Norris) gets a shot to be sports anchor."

In a sneak peak posted on the CW website, the premise of the episode is stated---that a father's redemption lies in his son's hand. The clip starts with Nathan telling Dan, "I don't care that you're dying. Leave my family alone!" We then see Lucas punching a mirror and breaking it out of frustration. In a voice-over, we hear him saying, "Please don't deny a dying man his last wish." The final image is that of Dan opening his door and finding Lucas standing there.

A longer version of the sneak peak is posted on YouTube. Nathan is practicing shooting ball when Dan arrives. Dan starts telling him that he can still be a great player and encourages him to keep on trying. But Nathan just tells him to stop following him and stop trying to see Jamie. Nathan tries to walk away but Dan cautions him saying, "Take it from someone who knows. You don't want to live a life of regret." Angered, Nathan throws the ball in Dan's face.

Exclusive Interview: 'Big Brother 9' Winner Adam Jasinski
County College , Parson's School of Design and Fashion Art Italy graduate Adam Jasinski emerged as the ultimate winner on CBS' hit reality program Big Brother season 9.

In an interview with Oscar Dahl of BuddyTV, Adam said that he kind of knew he was going to win but didn't want to get ahead of himself. In the end, it still surprised him when his name was called.

Adam also shared that he came into the game with a strategy in mind. He knew that there would be someone better looking than him and someone more camera-whorish than him. "Matty was the good looking one, the physical one. So, I was hoping I could be a solid second place to a lot of people where they would overlook me for the first few weeks. And then once they got a hold of my attitude, I know I'm a lot at first, I was quiet for the first few weeks of the show and then they were like 'Whoa, who's this dude?' you know?" he explained.

Adam's partner on the show is former model turned stay-at-home mother Sheila Kennedy of Reseda, California . Initially, Sheila was cruel to him but they hand a strong alliance by the end of the season.
