Whoo. Eat it Boston, Seattle owns you...sort of. And who'd a thunk KC would take at least 2 from the Angels? My hope was for the M's to be 10 games above .500 and 5 games back of the angels at the break, so far so good...

Can you imagine what the M's could do with a real GM? Even with just Soriano back in the pen and 1 more real starting pitcher!

Sherdogg21, I had the same thought when I heard that Joel was coming in to pitch in the 11th. I have nothing against Joel, but we had already survived three of their best pithers and I felt like Hurray, we finally got to someone that we own.

What a game!!! Ichiro took off on the crack of the bat and didn't look back. Lopez is the real deal, hardddddgrove has got to leave him alone and let him bat in the 2nd spot. When he moved Richie deeper in the line-up along with Beltrie, we seemed to be doing well. Maybe it doesn't make any difference, but Lopez seems to bat real well in the number 2 spot.

yeah Ron, I liked Joel too, but everything he threw those last years in Seattle looked really fancy... but it all ended up right in the middle of the plate belt high.

Wellwith all of these pithcers coming off of the DL real soon, we will see just how interested hardgggggrove and boooovasi are in winning the AL west. There are just some people on the DL that are helping more on the DL than in the starting rotation or in the bull pen. Please don't rush Lowe. I just know that some of our pitching stars are going to be sent down with the statement "Oh, they need some more seasoning down in the minor leagues." I would reply if they are doing well up in the majors aren't they getting a better seasoning than they would down in the minors?

On another note, but in the same song book, can't someone help Felix? He pitches lights out one inning and then the next has problems keeping the ball down. What's up with that? Does he need some help down in the minors? It sure did help Meche and Pinero when they sent them down (My tongue is firmly implanted in my cheek). Some thing just ain't right with Felix.

Erm, 7 wins in a row, 11 games over .500 and 4 games back from the Angels and only 1 game back from the Tigers? Wow. And with only decent defense and starting pitching. If the M's can shore up their Starting Rotation and work on their defense a little, more specifically Betancourt, then the M's are gonna freaking contending until the last days of September. Who knows, maybe the postseason beckons again for this franchise...
