photoAngel Animals (Allen and Linda Anderson)

Allen and Linda Anderson are pet-experts, keynote speakers, lifestyle marketing consultants, and best-selling authors. In 1996, at a mid-point in their lives, they were looking for ways to bring more love into the world. They started the Angel Animals Network to help people discover and benefit from the miraculous powers of animals. Allen and Linda are dedicated to bettering the lives of human-animal families. They donate a portion of proceeds from their work to animal rescue organizations and do fundraising activities. They rescued their dog and cats -- or is it the other way around?

The Andersons believe that connecting spiritually with animals opens new doors and possibilities. Through their popular series of books published by New World Library, the Angel Animals Story of the Week e-zine, speaking presentations, insights, and websites, they offer portals into an ancient world where animals are guides, healers, and friends.

Their books have been recommended on NBC’s The Today Show and ABC’s Nightly News and listed in Amazon.com’s “Hot 100” and Barnes & Noble’s “Top 10, What America Is Reading.” Their book, Angel Dogs, was featured on The Montel Show. The Andersons are contributing authors to Beliefnet.com, ivillage.com, Awareness Magazine’s “Pet Corner” column.

In 2004, Allen and Linda Anderson were recipients of a Certificate of Commendation from Governor Tim Pawlenty as authors enhancing the economy and welfare of the state of Minnesota.

In 2007, they were awarded the American Society of Journalists and Authors (ASJA) Outstanding Book Award for Rescued: Saving Animals from Disaster and the USA Best Book’s national book award. Allen Anderson was profiled in Jackie Waldman’s book, The Courage to Give, a book featured on Oprah.

The Andersons teach writing at the Loft Literary Center, in Minneapolis, where Linda won the Outstanding Loft Teachers Award.
