Each week on Wednesday, I'll post a compiled list of links that I've collected over the week, covering topics that are likely to be of interest to you, my fellow parents. I'm calling it the Wednesday Link.
This week's links:
Having trouble getting junior to eat veggies? Try a garden. A new study suggests that preschoolers eat more fruits and vegetables when the produce is home-grown.
Do you brush and floss regularly? Not your teeth... your child's. You'd better. According to this article, tooth decay in children is increasing at an alarming rate.
Sick and tired of the whining? Break your kid's whining habit, from CNN.com, provides some age-appropriate tips and tricks to help you stop the vicious cycle with your toddler, preschooler, and grade-school child.
Are the Mommy Wars a myth invented by the media to gain attention? The Mommy War Machine is an interesting perspective on how media hype has contributed to... or invented... the battle between working and stay-at-home moms.
Do you have a badly behaved child? Consider taking a parenting class. According to researchers at Oxford University and Bangor University, when parents enroll in a parenting class, the behavior of their children improves.
If you find an online resource or article that you think I should highlight in the Wednesday Link, email me or post a comment to share.
